Jewelry is armor for the body, mind, and soul. When made with intention, love, and healing stones, it has the power to elevate the entire spirit and functionality in life.

The maker

Amelia Piepgras is a goldsmith living in Santa Fe, NM. She was born into an artist household with an inherent drive as a maker. Growing up, her days began early and immediately, shooting downstairs to her work table the second she was awake to create. In the Piepgras family, this constant NEED to create is lovingly called the affliction. Some of the first things she made were pieces of jewelry for her mother. It was an easy language of love, expressing beauty and appreciation with something her mama could carry with her on her body. Now, in her 20’s, she has returned to this amazing realm of creation with new drive, healing knowledge, and the ability to create permanence. Gorgeous, healing pieces that can be carried through generations, gaining value and meaning and clearing the eyes to see beauty.

My favorite thing to do is take sentimental stones and gold and transform them into a custom piece. The materials having sentimentality to the customer adds intrinsic value and beautiful energy to the creation.

Fine jewelry is wrapped in this enamoring idea of permanence. Even when the materials are broken down they can be rebuilt into a new, glorious adornment, shedding unwanted energy to make way for even more love.
